Aloha!!! Finally got a minute to sit down and update the blog. You’d be surprised how busy we are, with the sun and beach and all. We really haven’t done much, just eaten and performed but whats new? Some more exciting things to come – how bout jumping out of _____ for excitement? Anycase, check it out.

5.09 – Memorial Day Weekend in the SOUTH!!!

Hi everyone! This weekend was especially long so I’m going to post it up in a couple of parts. Just wanted to throw some pics and comments up but we’ll be back with vids of some hilarity and more pics soon. Check it out. . .

I’m sorry I do not have many photos or footage of this segment of our trip. Not much positive to blog about North Carolina due to some unfortunate circumstances.

We would like to thank everyone who expressed concern over the news that we were in a car accident. NOBODY was hurt because we DIDN’T get into an accident. This was just a rumor started by the promoter to take the heat off of himself.

After driving for over 5 hours in the pouring rain to arrive in North Carolina, we were greeted with the news that we were not going to perform because the promoter failed to live up to his promises.

Unfortunately, we were not the only victims of this promoter. Neither the DJ’s nor our friends, emcee Vtec or Swagger Crew were compensated for their time and efforts.

In fact, the car accident rumor started with a text from the promoter to Vtec which instructed him to tell the audience we would not be performing due to an accident.

We have been very fortunate to have worked with great promoters thus far and to be able to entertain and meet thousands of fans across the US & Canada. It’s very unfortunate that one promoter compromised our reputation in an attempt to save face for himself.

We apologize to all our fans who braved the horrible weather to come out and support us. We hope that you will understand that we did not have an option and the situation was out of our control.

All in all, it was just a set of extremely unfortunate circumstances. Hopefully, we will be able to come back soon to try and make it up to you somehow. Again, thank you all for your continued support.

5.17.09 – NBA Nation

On Sunday, we were out at Universal City Walk performing and meeting some fans at the NBA Nation event. One awesome event, they’re coming to San Francisco next, watch for it! Here’s a shot of us with Darryl Dawkins, aka “Double D” aka “Chocolate Thunder,” accredited as one of the original backboard breaking dunkers!!! Because of him, you now receive a fine and suspension for breaking the backboard. Cool dude. . .
